If you are going to invest in one thing on your wedding day, it should be your photographer. I am here to document every sweet detail and every passing moment. As you look back on your wedding gallery 1, 10, 20, and 50 years later, you'll remember all of the anticipation before your first look, getting ready with all of your best friends, the carefully chosen centerpieces, that first kiss, your brother ripping his pants on the dance floor, and so much more. You can't ever get those moments back - that's why I'm here to capture all of the moments big and small. And that is worth investing in.

The Process
Will there be a second shooter?
A second photographer is optional but highly recommended. They photograph the groom getting ready and provide a second angle during the ceremony and reception.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
An overtime rate of $350/hour would apply in this case. If you think your wedding might go over, please let us know ASAP to ensure that your team will be available beyond the scheduled time!
What kind of gear do you use?
We use the highest quality professional glass lenses and mirrorless Canon cameras equiped with dual card slots because you can never be to careful. We also bring backup equipment to wedding.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Lovely Day Lens works with a professional printer that use's top-of-the-line printers and construction methods to produce seriously stunning archival products. Purchasing through our store is always optional.
What is your style?
Our style is best described as editorial. We are documenting your day as it unfolds, capturing real emotions, but we also put a lot of energy into the creative perspective of each shoot. We often experiment with different lighting techniques, backgrounds, and styles, to get the most out of your creative portraits.
Do we have the copyright to the images?
You can use your images in a personal capacity any way that you like. Want to order prints? Create albums? Share with your friends? You can do it all! We will include print copyrights with your images. What you will not be able to do is sell them for money, license them for commercial use or give permission to anyone else to do these things. Lovely Day Lens will maintain the ownership copyrights to our images.
What is your deposit?
We ask for a 25% deposit, but understand that not everybody can make that happen. We are happy to work with you to ensure you can lock in your date with us!
How many hours do you suggest for my wedding day?
This is one of our top questions, and there is no “one shoe fits all" answer for everyone. It all depends on how much coverage you want for getting ready if you're doing a first look, and if you want coverage of your entire reception or just part. Vanessa can help talk through your wedding day to see how many hours would be best for you! Most of our brides book 8-10 hours.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive a link to your own online gallery, where you will be able to download your photos as many times as you'd like!
Are there other fees not listed in the collections?
Besides taxes (which will be calculated in your contract), and travel is on a case-by-case basis.
What do your photo collections include?
All photo collections include; a pre-wedding consultation, wedding day photography coverage, online gallery for image viewing, and high-resolution files for printing and reproduction.
Do we need a permit?
If you have your heart set on certain location it is up to you to check requirements and pay applicable fees if required. We can always help with suggestions so do not hesitate to ask.
Can we get the Raw Files?
The RAW unedited files are not available for viewing or purchase. RAW image is unfinished product and we only deliver fully processed files. We work really hard on every single image that you will get. Images will be optimized for exposure, white balance, sharpening, color correction, lens correction, crop and overall enhancements.
When will I receive my photos?
We deliver your fully edited photos up to 60 days after your wedding date, and up to 90 days during high peak months..
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! We can divide your photography investment into 4 simple payments! Pay 25% at the time of booking, and then 25% at 60, 30, and 3 days before the wedding.
